United Kingdom leaves the European Union at 11pm tonight

BREXIT Day is less than 24 hours away.

From bananas to stilton, light bulbs and tampons – Britain will be free from the stringent policies from January 1 2021, the end of the Brexit transition period.

Martin Lewis, the Money Saving Expert has said on the matter: “Whether it’s mortgages, savings, travel rights or more, all are simply moved to the new transitional rules – designed to provide unchanged continuity.”

The big celebration in Parliament Square

Nigel Farage will lead a Brexit means Brexit leaving party. Guest speakers include Brexit Party MEP Ann Widdecombe, Wetherspoon founder Tim Martin and Julia Hartley-Brewer.

Celebrations will begin at 9pm and end at 11.15pm.
