As you may be aware, Debenhams (which is in administration) has sadly announced that the business will be wound down over the next few months and that stores and the website will be closed.
Firstly, we want to re-assure customers that Debenhams have confirmed that all existing Gift Cards and reward vouchers earned via the loyalty programme on your card will be honoured in store and online, and can be redeemed against purchases* whilst Debenhams remains trading.
But there will be some changes to your Debenhams Credit Card.
Any points earned before 1 December 2020, above the value of £2 can still be redeemed and will be sent in the form of a paper voucher in January. You can redeem your points online now by registering for Online Account Manager – these can only be used whilst Debenhams continues to trade.
Unfortunately, from 1 December 2020, points will no longer be able to be earned when you spend in Debenhams or elsewhere.
However, you can continue to use your Debenhams Credit Card to make purchases anywhere that carries the Mastercard logo, including Debenhams whilst they continue to trade. If anything changes in the future, we’ll be sure to let you know as soon as possible.
Remember, to keep your account up to date, it’s important to pay at least your contractual minimum payment on time each month. You can continue to service your account using Online Account Manager or the app.
We are monitoring this situation closely and will continue to focus on meeting the credit needs of customers. We will let you know as additional information becomes available regarding your Debenhams Credit Card. You can also visit our FAQs, which will include new information as it becomes available and details of how to contact us if you have any questions.
