CCTV appeal after man in shop racially abused and threatened Two women

Two women were racially abused and threatened in Whitefields Road, Cheshunt, on October 26.

Officers investigating a racially aggravated incident in Cheshunt have released an image of a man they would like to speak to as part of their enquiries.

“Do you recognise the man pictured?

The victims, a woman in her 40s and a woman in her 50s, were walking along the pavement together when they were approached by a man.

He began racially abusing them before threatening them both. The women carried on walking and the man also walked away.

PC Karen Hutchinson, who is investigating, said: “This incident left both women feeling understandably intimidated. They were not physically injured but were left feeling upset by their ordeal.

We would like to speak to him as he may have information that could assist us with our investigation. If you can help, please call Hertfordshire Constabulary on the non-emergency number 101, quoting crime reference K2/17/4775
